Job summary

Westeck Windows and Doors is seeking a Production Worker II to manufacture premium windows and doors with a strong emphasis on quality and efficiency. You will support multiple production areas, operate equipment, and ensure materials meet specifications.

You will work in a fast-paced environment, follow strict safety practices, and contribute to continuous improvement while maintaining high product standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Comfortable using hand and power tools.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment to safety.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Able to read basic measuring tools (ruler, tape, calipers).
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a positive team environment.
• Experience in manufacturing or similar hands-on environments (assets).
• Forklift certification (asset).
• First aid certification (asset).

Responsibilities

• Prepare materials and components for production using work orders and specifications.
• Assemble windows and doors that meet quality and productivity standards.
• Operate manufacturing equipment, hand tools, and production machinery safely and effectively.
• Measure, inspect, and verify components throughout production.
• Identify and resolve minor production issues while minimizing waste.
• Rotate between workstations and support multiple production areas as required.
• Perform quality inspections before products move to the next stage of production.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Contribute ideas that improve quality, safety, and efficiency.

What You'll Do

As a Production Worker II, you will help manufacture premium windows and doors while maintaining Westeck's high standards for quality, safety, and efficiency.

What You Bring

Required Qualifications

• High school graduation or equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience
• Comfortable using hand and power tools
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment to workplace safety
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new skills
• Comfortable using basic measuring tools (ruler, tape measure, calipers, etc.)
• Ability to work independently, while contributing to a positive team environment

Assets

• Experience working in manufacturing, production, assembly, construction, warehousing, or another hands-on environment
• Previous experience operating production equipment
• Experience reading production drawings or specifications
• Forklift certification
• First aid certification

Physical Requirements

• Ability to be standing and actively moving for the duration of your shift
• Frequent walking, bending, crouching, reaching, and lifting throughout your shift
• The ability to lift up to 75 lbs (34 kg) regularly
• Regular use of fine motor hand functions
• Working in a production environment with varying temperatures and noise levels
