Job summary

Manulife John Hancock invites an enthusiastic undergraduate student to join our Risk Summer Internship. You will develop hands-on skills in data visualization and risk data automation while preparing analyses for senior management.

You will work on multiple projects, learn goal setting, timelines, and deliverables, and gain exposure to GRO’s premier early talent program, tailored to graduating students.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Economics, Business, Information Security, or related field.
• Experience with Python and Power BI.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient writing skills and strong mathematical/financial competencies.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Knowledge of Python (prior programming experience is an asset).
• Effective communication, time management and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Create dynamic and interactive data visualizations using Python libraries (Matplotlib, Seaborn, Plotly) and Power BI.

Salary Range Is Expected To Be Between

$46,800.00 CAD - $62,400.00 CAD

The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job‑related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training. The annual salary will be pro‑rated based on the length of the work‑term.
