Manulife Financial Corporation/Manulife John Hancock is offering a Compliance Analyst Summer Internship to help you launch a career in compliance, risk and governance within a leading financial services firm.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program in Business, Finance, Law, Public Policy, Risk Management, Economics, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and critical‑thinking skills.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Assist the Compliance team with day‑to‑day operational activities and ongoing business initiatives.
• Conduct research on regulatory, business, and legal requirements to support compliance‑related projects and decision‑making.
• Help develop, update, and maintain compliance guidelines, policies, procedures, and documentation.
• Analyze information and summarize findings to support business objectives and compliance initiatives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to gather information and support project delivery.
• Assist with process improvement initiatives and contribute ideas that enhance operational efficiency.
• Support special projects and other compliance‑related activities as assigned.

Salary range is expected to be between:
$40,950.00 CAD - $60,450.00 CAD

The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography, and relevant job‑related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training. The annual salary will be pro‑rated based on the length of the work term.
