Capital One Canada is seeking a Summer 2027 Full Stack Software Engineer who will collaborate with engineers across Canada to design and implement scalable software layers. You will gain exposure to Go, NodeJS, AWS and modern frontend stacks while building infrastructure, testing, deployment and monitoring capabilities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher expected by December 2026 or later.
Familiarity with backend development and JavaScript.
Clear communication, presentation and writing skills.
Solid understanding of testing fundamentals.
Ability to work in a collaborative team setting.

Responsibilities

Work as part of a dynamic team through the software development life cycle.
Develop code to meet story acceptance criteria.
Conduct design and code reviews to ensure quality output.
Ensure adherence to continuous improvement practices for quality and time to market.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and design sessions.
Collaborate with Product and Analyst stakeholders on enhancements.
Document analyses, test results and releases.
Learn and build AWS cloud infrastructure on the job.
