Make an impact with our Assurance & Accounting team as a Summer Articling Student for a 4-month term beginning May 2026. Responsibilities

• Develop technical skills in areas such as compilations, reviews, audits, bookkeeping, and tax.
• Apply knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, and/or ASPE.
• Set up files for new clients and businesses, manage multiple files, and conduct inventory counts.
• Perform accounts receivable, accounts payable, capital asset transactions, and payroll walkthroughs with clients.
• Summarize financial status by preparing balance sheets, income statements, and other reports.
• Assess the appropriateness of audit evidence for various financial entries.
• Review and correct discrepancies in financial documents and reports.
• Establish charts of accounts and prepare entries for posting.
• Prepare correspondence, reports, client summaries, and presentations.
• Collaborate with the engagement team and build client relationships.
• Contribute to process improvements using internal systems.
• Maintain flexibility to travel as needed.

Skills And Experience

• Working towards a bachelor’s degree in commerce or business administration (accounting or finance preferred).
• Prerequisites for CPA PEP admission after graduation.
• Accounting office experience is an asset.
• Customer service experience is an asset.
• Experience with accounting software is an asset.
