Volunteer Opportunity

We are looking for volunteers to support our Children's Summer Program from July 6, 2025 to August 28, 2026.

Opportunity Details

Opportunity type: Ongoing – Start Anytime

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 11 am to 6 pm (additional after‑hours and weekend shifts available). A minimum of 10 hours per week is required.

Shift Options

• 11 am – 6 pm
• 11 am – 2 pm
• 2 pm – 6 pm

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Set up and clean up activities
• Monitor children and youth
• Assist with daily tasks
• Facilitate games, interactive games, crafts, trips, and community events
• Food preparation
• Maintain community garden
• Expect to spend outdoors 70–80 % of the season
• Participate in trips twice a week

Requirements

• Must know how to swim and be willing to get in water
• Police reference check (must be in place by the start date)
• CPR certification
• Willing to undergo a background or police records check
