Qualifications

• Recent and clean Criminal Record Check including Vulnerable Sector Check.
• Recent and clean Child and Welfare Intervention Check.
• Valid Social Insurance Number (SIN) in current legal name.

Responsibilities

• When the educational assistant is absent, the substitute educational assistant assumes duties under direct supervision of the classroom teacher.
• Communicates, collaborates, and cooperates with the classroom teacher, colleagues and students.
• Maintains and respects confidentiality of students and school personnel information.
• Complies with and supports Division and school policies and procedures.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by the classroom teacher and principal.
