Peace Wapiti Public School Division (PWPSD) provides service to approximately 6,100 students in Junior Kindergarten through Grade 12 in 34 schools and is one of the largest employers in the Grande Prairie/Spirit River region.

PENSON SCHOOL is seeking student-focused Substitute Educational Assistants. Substitute Educational Assistants work on an on-call, casual basis to support students when regular staff are unavailable. The Substitute Educational Assistant works under the supervision of a certificated teacher.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience working in a classroom setting would be an asset
• You have the ability to meet outside of school hours.
• You have the ability to work as part of a team in a collaborative environment.
• You have the ability and willingness to perform required physical tasks, as well as assist with personal care.
