Job summary

The Manitoba Child Care Association is seeking a casual substitute to support our before and after school program and full days on inservice and school breaks.

The Childcare Assistant (CCA) will provide a safe, caring and educational environment, using an emergent curriculum and circle of security training as available; required certifications include CCA classification, First Aid/CPR, a Criminal/Child Abuse Check, and a 40-hour child development course within the first year of employment.

Qualifications

• Eligible candidates must have CCA classification
• First Aid/CPR certification required
• Commit to Kids certificate and Criminal/Child Abuse Check
• Center-provided Circle of Security Training
• 40-hour child development course completed within the first year

• Ability to take initiative and think outside the box
• Eligible candidates must obtain/provide:
• CCA classification
• First Aid/CPR
• Commit to Kids certificateCurrent Criminal/Child Abuse Check
• Center-provided Circle of Security Training
• 40-hour child development course completed within the first year of employment
• Rate of Pay
• $19.97 with 40 hour training or $16.00 without 40 hour training
