Substation Site Supervisor and Inspector

We are seeking a site supervisor for our client Hydro-One. Your responsibilities will include supervising civil, structural, foundation, and electrical activities in electrical substations (115kV / 44kV), preparing reports on work progress and quality, ensuring compliance with standards and safety requirements, reviewing plans and specifications, and liaising with contractors and subcontractors. You will also participate in quality control, non-conformance reports, and provide site recommendations.

Candidate Profile:

• At least 2 years of substation experience, with strong knowledge in civil, structural, foundation, and electrical activities for substations and hydro projects. Ability to read engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of Hydro-One standards.
• Ability to provide field recommendations and feedback on RFIs.
• Valid driver’s license (Class G).
• Proficiency with MS Office, SharePoint, and field tools.
• Availability to travel on rotation (2 weeks in, 1 week out).
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
