Job summary

International Submarine Engineering in Port Coquitlam, BC, is seeking a Software DevOps and Testing Specialist to join the team. The role combines software development, automated testing, DevOps practices, QA, and continuous improvement to deliver high‑quality software solutions for GeoSpectrum Technologies and ISE products.

The candidate works with engineers, QA, and project managers across the full lifecycle, supports AI-assisted development tools, and contributes to software quality and

Qualifications

• 3–7+ years in software development, testing, DevOps or related roles.
• Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Experience developing automated test frameworks.
• Experience supporting Linux-based software systems.
• Experience with cross-platform software development preferred.
• Eligible to obtain Canadian Controlled Goods and Government Security clearances.

Responsibilities

• Implement software in C++, C#, and Python following specs and standards.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications for multiple systems.
• Develop GUI for operator and engineering interfaces.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for build, test, and release processes.
• Create test plans, procedures, validation protocols, and reports.
• Support software release management and deployment activities.
