Job summary

International Submarine Engineering (ISE) is seeking a Software Developer to design, implement, test, and maintain software for subsea vehicles and internal tools. You will work with multidisciplinary teams to deliver robust software across Windows and Linux environments, integrating with hardware, sensors, and control systems.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in software development (C++, C#, Python) and hands-on experience with Visual Studio, Git, and Qt.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software development experience in an engineering environment.
• Experience developing software in C++.
• Experience with C# and Python.
• Experience with Windows application development.
• Experience using Visual Studio and .NET environment.
• Experience with source control in a team setting.
• Experience with software testing and verification activities.
• Experience in robotics, autonomous systems, defense, industrial automation, marine systems, or related fields is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, integrate, and maintain software systems for products, research initiatives, and internal tools.
• Collaborate with Systems, Electrical, Mechanical, Test, and Software teams across the product lifecycle.
• Develop GUI for operator, engineering, and customer-facing applications.
• Develop reusable modules, libraries, and frameworks; troubleshoot defects.
