Qualifications

• Minimum Grade 12 diploma recognized by the Board of Education.

• Educational assistant or equivalent diploma; NVCI, First Aid; autism/behavioral background assets.

Responsibilities

• Transport students (personal vehicle may be required).
• Attend to personal hygiene and medical needs as required.
• Prepare and plan student-based life skills and academic programming under direction of teacher.
• Support successful transition of student to work with others.
• Focus on behaviour and safety plans for students as required.
• Supervision of intensive needs student(s) and small groups as required.
