Job summary

Northern College seeks a Student Success Advisor to support students across campus, identify early intervention strategies, and provide learning resources for student success. You will develop learning plans, plan workshops, offer individualized support, and track student progress in collaboration with faculty and student services.

Requirements include a two-year diploma in Human Services, four years of relevant experience, and a valid CPIC.

Qualifications

• Two-year diploma in Human Services required.
• Four years of practical experience in social services.
• Valid Criminal Record Check (CPIC).

Responsibilities

• Develop learning plans;
• Develop and plan workshops tailored to students’ academic success (i.e.: study skills workshops);
• Offer ongoing, specialized and one-to-one support to students;
• Advise students of resources;
• Track student progress/grades and conduct follow-ups.
