Job summary

Brandon University invites applications for the Student Assistant SA II – Mini University Instructor for Fall/Winter/Spring. The role supports after-school STEM programming, helps deliver lesson plans, and supervises students across ages in evenings and weekends.

Ideal candidates are Brandon University students (preferred) with strong communication, reliability, and an interest in STEM. Applicants may be required to provide background checks and First Aid/CPR certification as part of the hiring

Qualifications

• Preference given to current Brandon University students; 2nd year standing preferred.
• Some CS/coding experience is an asset.
• Previous instruction or youth work experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation and delivery of lesson plans for after-school STEM programming (evening/weekends).
• Supervise students of different ages during programming.
• Cover other programming when instructor is absent.
