Job summary

Thames Valley District School Board (TVDSB) is hiring a Permanent Student Supervisor for Royal Roads PS in London, Ontario. The role involves supervising students on school grounds during nutritional breaks and throughout the day, with potential health/behavioral needs support as directed by the principal.

The position offers a stable, permanent assignment with a pay rate of $25.75 per hour and weekly hours ranging from 3.33 to 6.66.

Qualifications

• Previous related work experience.
• French language is an asset.
• Criminal background check is required for work with vulnerable persons.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and security of students.
• Communicate with a diverse range of staff, students and guardians.
• Supervise the disposal of lunch refuse in suitable containers and the general cleaning of the lunchroom areas.
• Dealing with discipline problems in a manner prescribed by the principal and reporting significant disciplinary actions to the principal or designate.
• Carrying out such supervision duties as the principal may assign.
