Eastern Townships School Board in Richmond, Quebec seeks a Student Supervisor for Richmond Regional High School. The role is part-time (7 hours/week) with school-day duties from 8:20am to 3:25pm, Monday to Friday. Replacement of undetermined duration, salary $25.42-$27.65 per hour.

The supervisor ensures students adhere to school policy on discipline, supports safety, and assists with various duties across classrooms and common areas.

Qualifications

• Fluent in French & English
• Hold a secondary school diploma or an attestation of studies recognized as equivalent with 1 year of relevant experience in areas requiring self-discipline, psychology and human relations skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students to ensure rules and safety.
• Make rounds, issue warnings, observe and report abnormal situations.
• Greet and direct students and visitors.
• Explain regulations and assist with policy compliance.
• Assist during exams, detention, or when teachers are absent.
• Supervise arrivals/departures of school buses and cafeteria activity.
• Maintain a safe environment and intervene in fights or aggression.
• Administer first aid as needed.
• Lock/unlock rooms and manage lockers and security cameras.
• Monitor absences and contact parents as needed.
