Job summary

Eastern Townships School Board seeks a Student Supervisor for Heore's Memorial Elementary School in Cowansville, QC. The role is 5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 11:30–12:30, with a hourly wage of CAD 24.80–26.98. You will ensure policy adherence, supervise students, and support school operations.

The ideal candidate holds a secondary school diploma, or an equivalent attestation, and is fluent in French and English. Experience in student discipline and safety is valued.

Qualifications

• Hold a secondary school diploma.
• One year of pertinent experience in areas requiring self-discipline, general psychology concepts, and human relations skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students to ensure rules are observed and safety.
• Make rounds, issue warnings, observe, and report abnormal situations.
• Greet and direct students and visitors; explain regulations.
• Assist with drawing up and evaluating regulations as needed.
• Supervise students during exams, detention, or when teachers are absent.
• Monitor arrivals/departures of school buses and supervise cafeteria.</n
• Assist with locker/security procedures and incident reporting.
• Notify authorities when required and participate in accident or theft reports.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
