Job summary

Eastern Townships School Board at Richmond Regional High School in Richmond, QC is seeking a Student Supervisor for a part-time role of 7 hours per week. Responsibilities include monitoring student behavior, greeting students, and ensuring safety during school hours.

The successful candidate will enforce school policies, support teachers, and help coordinate supervision during exams, meals, and arrivals/departures. Fluent French and English is preferred; experience in student services is a plus.

Qualifications

• Secondary school diploma or equivalent attestation with 1 year experience in self-discipline, psychology concepts and human relations.
• Fluency in French and English is required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students in school and buildings to ensure rules are observed and student safety.
• Greet and direct students and visitors; explain regulations to students.
• Monitor safety and participate in bus loading/unloading, cafeteria supervision, and during exams or teacher absences.
• Assist with discipline, reporting abnormal situations to designated personnel and, if needed, assist in police liaison or accident reports.
• Participate in student activities and ensure materials for activities are available.
