AIMCo's Mortgage team in Edmonton is seeking a student to support its portfolio management efforts. The role focuses on reviewing loans, updating data, and assisting with mortgage investment underwriting while gaining exposure to Canadian, US and UK markets.
The ideal candidate is an undergraduate in a commerce/finance/economics/math-related field, proficient with Excel and Outlook, with exposure to SQL or Power BI considered an asset. This is a 4-month, full-time co-op-like position.

AIMCo's Mortgage team is seeking a student to complement and support its existing team. The AIMCo Mortgage team manage a portfolio of around $7billion on behalf of our clients. Investments are primarily located within the Canadian, US, and UK markets.
Note: This is a 4-month, full-time term from May 2027 through August 2027.

As the successful student on the mortgages team, you will become very familiar with the inner workings on AIMCo's Mortgage's portfolio. You will seek out efficiencies and work with the investment professionals around you to implement them. You will take advantage of your summer at AIMCo by building connections across the organization.
Final candidates will be asked to undergo a security screening, which includes a credit bureau and a criminal record investigation, the results of which must be acceptable to AIMCo.
