McGill University invites applications for a part-time student assistant at the Marvin Duchow Music Library. This position is restricted to McGill University students.
Under supervision, the student will circulate materials, answer basic inquiries, prepare audio/video equipment for circulation, and assist with processing and organizing library materials. Weekend availability is required; the start date is 2026-09-06 and the end date 2026-12-23. The role is 12 hours per week at $16.70 per hour.

Under the direction of a library staff member, the student assists with the delivery of Library services during peak periods. Duties include circulating materials of various formats, answering basic inquiries from users, preparing audio/video equipment for circulation, and contributing to the processing and organizing of library materials. Must be available on weekends. May be required to open and/or close the library and perform emergency evacuation procedures. Performs other supplementary tasks as assigned.
