Celestica, a global technology leader, offers an Aerospace & Defense Internship at our Toronto location. You will bridge engineering, sourcing and production to drive cost-reduction initiatives, analyse component data and support pricing cycles.

You may assist quarterly financial reconciliations and collaborate with corporate supply chain teams. We value the ability to analyze, document and communicate clearly, with strong Excel, PowerPoint and Word skills.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a degree in business, supply chain, electrical or aerospace engineering.
  • Third or final year in a 4- or 5-year program with transcripts.
  • Strong analytical, communication and MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

  • Gather component information from Celestica production and external suppliers.
  • Generate comparison data from similar components.
  • Interface with supply chain and commodity managers during component selection.
  • Review design documentation to understand design intent.
  • Create data documentation justifying new component selections.
  • Assist pricing cycles and quarterly financial reconciliations.

About this Opportunity

As an Aerospace & Defense Intern, you will bridge the gap between Engineering, Sourcing, and Production to drive cost‑reduction initiatives. You will analyze component data, support product verification, and document the implementation of cost‑effective solutions. Additionally, you will assist the Global Customer Business Unit with pricing cycles and coordinate with Corporate Supply Chain on quarterly claims and financial reconciliations.

Activities

  • Gathering component information from Celestica production and external suppliers

  • Generating comparison data from similar components

  • Interfacing with supply chain and commodity managers during component selection

  • Creation of data documentation that justify the new selected components

  • Managing Customer pricing and rollout process

  • Project related contract amendments

  • Accounts receivable reconciliation

  • Quarterly Excess and Obsolete claim process with customer

  • Quarterly Consignment confirmation and signoff process with customer

Physical Demands, duties of this position are varied and will include:

  • Duties of this position are performed in a normal office environment.

  • Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data.

  • Repetitive manual movements (e.g., data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc.) are frequently required.

Salary

The range described in this posting is an estimate by the Company, and may change based on several factors, including but not limited to a change in the duties covered by the job posting, or the credentials, experience or geographic jurisdiction of the successful candidate.

The hourly wage is determined by the years of study completed and is non‑negotiable as per company policy.

Hourly Wage: $23-30 CAD/hr
