Job summary

Stanley Consultants is seeking a Control Systems Student Intern for our Denver, CO office. You will collaborate with engineers on diverse projects and develop an understanding of control and instrumentation tasks within Stanley projects.

You will assist with documents such as P&IDs, I/O lists, data sheets, wiring drawings, and instrument indices as part of project execution.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in ABET-accredited BSEE or BSME program.
• Junior or senior pursuing BS in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• GPA 3.0 or higher.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Develop understanding of control and instrumentation tasks on Stanley projects.
• Work with engineers on a variety of projects (power plants, automation, microgrids, water systems, CHP).
• Create and check documents: P&IDs, I/O lists, data sheets, wiring/termination drawings, instrument indices, and specifications.

Stanley Consultants is seeking a Control Systems Student Intern to join our Denver, CO office.

What You Will Be Doing:

Student will develop an understanding of control and instrumentation tasks for a typical Stanley project. Typical projects include power plants, industrial automation systems, microgrids, municipal water management systems, combined heat and power (CHP) systems for universities and campuses. Student will work with engineers on a variety of projects, creating and checking documents such as Piping & Instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), Input/Output (I/O) lists, data sheets, wiring and termination dwgs, instrument indices, and specifications.

Required Qualifications:

• Enrolled in BSEE or BSME Degree Program at an ABET accredited University
• Must be a Junior or Senior working towards a BS in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
• GPA 3.0 or higher
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must be able to work legally in the United States for an unlimited time without requiring sponsorship

$23.26 - $28.49 an hour

(Hourly range for CO location)
