Job summary

iA Financial Group in Canada is seeking a Student – Data Analyst to transform data into actionable insights that support business decisions and continuous improvement.

You will work on KPI monitoring, dashboards, and ad hoc reporting, and contribute to automation using SQL, Excel, Power BI, or Power Query. Ideal candidates are pursuing studies in data science or analytics with strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Pursuing studies in data science, business analytics, actuarial science, CS, statistics or related field.
• Interest in data analysis, reporting and solving business problems.
• Strong analytical skills and rigor.
• Proactive and able to work with Excel, SQL, and Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Extract, analyze, and interpret data to address business needs like KPI monitoring and trend analysis.
• Contribute to dashboards, tracking files, and reporting tools.
• Present results clearly to support decision-making.
• Assist in data collection, validation, and transformation for reports.
• Support automation of tasks using SQL, Excel, Power BI, and related tools.
