Reporting to the Senior Manager, Corporate Responsibility and Environment (CR&E),

This role involves managing the company's environmental management system. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team, with main responsibilities including:

Key Responsibilities
  1. Environmental Management System (EMS) improvement: Support efforts to enhance the EMS (ISO 14001 certified), including preparing performance reports, conducting gap analysis, monitoring objectives, non-conformities, and corrective actions. Responsible for deploying environmental management software. Conduct risk analyses to identify and leverage environmental opportunities.
  2. Management of environmental aspects: Assist in managing environmental aspects by planning and coordinating environmental action committee meetings.
  3. Tools and data: Update the environmental assessment matrix, maintain current documentation, and assist project managers as needed.
Collaboration and Project Management
  1. Work closely with the CR&E team and environmental coordinators across business units.
  2. Participate in managing, coordinating, and implementing environmental programs, including monitoring progress and achieving annual environmental goals.
  3. Manage the ESG email inbox, assign follow-up actions, and track progress.
Critical Qualifications
  • Enrolled in a university program related to environment, corporate responsibility, or sustainable development.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French and English.

  • Thoroughness, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Data analysis and synthesis skills.
  • Autonomy, proactivity, and deadline management.
  • Team spirit and collaboration skills.
  • Working knowledge of ISO 14001 (asset).
