OMERS & Oxford seeks a proactive professional to drive business discovery and customer success initiatives. You will translate customer needs into clear requirements, collaborate with teams, and help shape product pilots and AI-enabled workflows.

Strong analytics, communication, and strategic thinking are essential, with exposure to SQL/Python and Microsoft 365 tools. This hybrid role emphasizes collaboration across North American and global teams.

Qualifications

  • Education: Pursuing a bachelor degree in business, commerce, information technology, or computer science.
  • Experience with SQL and Python is preferred; exposure to low-code tools, Microsoft 365, Power Platform, data analysis, or AI-enabled workflows is an asset.
  • Experience using AI tools such as Microsoft 365 Copilot, Gemini, Claude, or similar technologies is an asset.
  • Understanding AI concepts like retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and tokenization is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Support the team to develop and maintain a customer roadmap with the products and initiatives based on business impact, customer value, and technological feasibility.
  • Gather and analyze customer feedback and usage data of various Data and Technology services to understand customer needs and pain points.
  • Translate customer pain points and business workflows into clear requirements, solution ideas, and implementation considerations for technical and business stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate curiosity in understanding private and public markets workflows and identify opportunities where technology, automation, data, and AI can improve efficiency and user experience.
  • Assist with the development of recommendations and presentations of various Product and services applicable to the Customers based on their needs.
  • Apply independent, sound judgment, and navigate complex issues with a view to customer success.
  • Lead self and manage your work effectively.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve goals and drive continuous improvement.

You will be responsible for
Business Discovery & Customer Success

Preferred Skills & Experience:
  • Education: Pursuing a bachelor degree in business, commerce, information technology, computer science.

  • Technical Stack: Good to have proficiency in SQL and Python, with exposure to low-code tools, Microsoft 365, Power Platform, data analysis, or artificial intelligence-enabled workflows considered an asset.

    • Experience using AI tools such as Microsoft 365 Copilot, Gemini, Claude, or similar technologies is an asset.

    • Demonstrated interest in understanding core AI concepts such as retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), tokenization, prompting, and the trade-offs between different AI tools and approaches is considered an asset.

  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in an environment with competing priorities.

  • Experience working with and successfully supporting customers.

  • Basic understanding of business operations, technology trends, and how digital tools can improve day-to-day workflows.

  • Excellent communication skills – the ability to translate technical concepts into non-technical language for the business and other stakeholders.

  • Demonstrate curiosity in business processes and emerging technologies, comfort working through ambiguity, and a willingness to challenge established thinking to help generate new ideas and approaches to problem solving.

The expected salary range for this position is $50,700.00 - $70,200.00 per year, prorated based on the term of the contract.

You may also be eligible to receive an annual Incentive Award pursuant to our Short-term Incentive plan and our Long-Term Incentive plan (if applicable), and to participate in our group benefits and retirement plans – details on these elements of compensation are included within OMERS & Oxford offer letters.
