Job summary

CPLED seeks a Student Affairs Advisor to provide high-level support on accommodations/accessibility, academic integrity, and appeals. You will be a primary contact for students and stakeholders, handling confidential information with discretion.

The role requires strong communication, time management, and sound judgement, with the ability to interpret CPLED policies and maintain relationships across departments. Hybrid/remote options are available.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in a relevant field (education, social sciences, etc.).
• 3-5 years of experience in a related area is preferred.
• Experience with accessibility/accommodations and integrity investigations is an asset.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with professional judgement.

Responsibilities

• General: interpret CPLED policies and maintain confidential records.
• Accommodation/Accessibility: manage accommodation requests and coordinate decisions.
• Academic/Professional Integrity: review and respond to integrity investigations.
• Appeals: handle appeal submissions and draft decisions with templates.
