Qualifications

• 3-6 years of relevant project experience in planning, design, and construction of tunnel and trenchless projects.
• Excellent problem solving, decision making, and teamwork skills.
• Excellent technical writing skills and attention to detail.
• Thorough knowledge of relevant technical codes, operations, processes, and trends.
• Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, contractors, and clients.

Responsibilities

• Produce technical deliverables according to client specifications.
• Prepare construction plans, specifications, and design reports with appropriate guidance.
• Communicate technical information concisely in meetings with owners, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Produce engineering calculations for tunnel, geotechnical, and structural work to support trenchless design.
• Prepare technical reporting including memoranda, letters, and reports.
• Complete structural engineering for tunnel, shaft, and stations including lining and retaining structures.
