W3Global in Anjou/Boucherville region is seeking a Structural Engineer with a strong background in industrial structures. The role requires leadership in multidisciplinary projects, client interaction, and hands-on design of steel and reinforced concrete structures.

You will supervise engineers/technicians, mentor CPIs, and contribute technical opinions on complex design aspects while participating in plans, specifications, and project guidelines.

Qualifications

• Hold a bachelor’s degree in civil and/or construction engineering.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in industrial structure design.
• Be a member in good standing of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec.
• Must hold a driver’s license for travel to various sites.
• Knowledge of SAFI software is an asset.
• Knowledge of English is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Acting as a discipline officer in multidisciplinary industrial projects.
• Establish and maintain contact with clients to define needs, and present technical information, concepts or study results.
• Perform the designs and calculations of industrial structures in steel and reinforced concrete.
• Supervise and verify the work produced by engineers and technicians. Act as a mentor to CPIs.
• Produce technical opinions and recommendations on complex aspects related to the design of steel and reinforced concrete structures.
• Participate in the design of plans, specifications and details based on guidelines within the framework of industrial structure projects.

Job Summary

The incumbent will be required to perform the following tasks, under the supervision of the discipline manager:

• Mastery of the codes and standards in force in Quebec;
