Job summary

Atlas Structural Systems is seeking a qualified designer to design cost-effective residential and commercial roof, wall, and floor systems in Atlantic Canada. The role involves preparing engineered drawings, layouts, and job site packages while providing excellent customer service to contractors and homeowners.

Ideal candidates will have an Engineering degree or CET designation, at least 2 years of design experience, and proficiency with MiTek and MS Office.

Qualifications

• CET designation or Engineering degree preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of structural or truss design experience.
• Able to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings.
• Strong attention to detail; able to work independently.
• Self-motivated with good problem-solving skills.
• MiTek experience is considered an asset.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
