Job summary

Life Time in Mississauga is hiring a Personal Training-Hourly Stretch Specialist to support members with branded assisted stretch and recovery sessions, focusing on safety and education. You will build personalized programs, lead stretch sessions, and promote stretch services while delivering superior member experiences.

Required: high school diploma or GED, CPR/AED and CPT certification, knowledge of stretching techniques, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; CPR and AED certified.
• Certified Personal Trainer with knowledge of assisted stretching.
• Ability to perform an aerobic activity for duration and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Develops safe, professional, and comprehensive client programs that drive client goal achievement and retention.
• Leads clients through assisted stretch sessions using techniques like PNF and contract-relax stretching.
• Leads clients through recovery sessions using assisted stretching, hypervolt percussion, and breathing drills.
• Reads, watches, and engages in required training associated with the role.
• Conducts stretch and recovery demos for new clients including pre-participation screening, Medical History, Lifestyle questionnaire, and goal setting.
