StretchLab - Winnipeg in Winnipeg, MB is seeking a Flexologist (kinesiologist, athletic therapist, personal trainer, etc.) for an on-site, part-time role. You will deliver one-on-one assisted stretches (25 or 50 minutes) and help grow the studio through memberships and client retention.

The position emphasizes fitness and mobility, requires relevant certifications, and offers hands-on training through a 3-day Flexologist Training Program with in-person sessions after online coursework.

Qualifications

• Background in physical therapy/athletic therapy/kinesiology/personal training.
• Experience training clients in a fitness/health environment.
• Fitness certification required.
• Excellent communication and empathy.

Responsabilités

• Deliver one-on-one assisted stretch sessions (25 or 50 minutes).

About the role

As a Flexologist, you will provide one-on-one assisted stretches for our clients. This is an amazing opportunity to gain experience in a new modality that is taking the fitness and wellness industry by storm.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Deliver one-on-one assisted stretch sessions (25 or 50 minute)
• Encourage and motivate clients throughout stretch sessions
• Ensure safety of clients with proper stretch techniques and enforce StretchLab policies and safety rules
• Attend staff meetings and required educational presentations
• Handle member concerns when applicable
• Assist sales associates and General Manager with studio tour and sales as needed
• Build StretchLab membership and retain current clientele
• Help with maintaining strong social media presence to client membership and retention
• Clean and maintain all equipment and work area to ensure it is available for client use at any given time / to COVID-19 cleaning procedures

Qualifications

• Preferred backgrounds: Physical Therapist / Athletic Therapist / Kinesiologist / Massage Therapist / Pilates, Yoga, Dance Instructor, certified / licensed healthcare worker/ Personal trainer
• Experience working in a fitness/health environment where you provide hands-on training with client
• Fitness or related certification required
• Ability to create a positive environment that welcomes all people
• Fantastic communication skills and exudes empathy
• Must love connecting with people and have passion for helping them achieve their goals
• Must have a professional work ethic, be reliable and adhere to our attendance policies
• Must be available to go through our 3-day Flexologist Training Program, which includes 20 hours of online tutorials and 3 days of in-person/hands-on training
