Strategy & Operations Consultant

Location: Vancouver, BC (Hybrid )

Contract: 12-months

Rate: $55.46/hour

We’re hiring a Strategy & Operations Consultant to help drive the expansion of non-restaurant verticals such as grocery and retail across international markets, including Canada and Australia. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives on building from scratch and scaling smart.

You’ll own merchant acquisition strategy, category planning, and go-to-market execution — and play a pivotal part in shaping the merchant experience in new categories.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead acquisition and selection strategy for non-restaurant categories across target markets
• Build and maintain merchant pipeline plans, backed by strong market intelligence
• Partner across Sales, Operations, Product, and Enablement to drive merchant onboarding and early success
• Launch acceleration initiatives in high-opportunity areas
• Balance strategic planning with detailed execution, owning results across the funnel

What You Bring:

• 5+ years’ experience in strategy, consulting, business operations, analytics, or high-growth environments
• Advanced skills in Excel (modeling, forecasting) and SQL (data analysis)
• Track record of launching, scaling, or optimizing business operations in fast-paced settings
• Strong cross-functional communication and stakeholder management
• Comfort working across global teams and time zones

Ideal Backgrounds:

• Experience in grocery, retail, CPG, marketplaces, or technology sectors
• Consulting, strategy, or entrepreneurship exposure
