Job summary

trophiai is building an AI-powered coaching platform for gamers. We are hiring a Business Operations Associate to work directly with the founders and scale our business backbone.

You will partner on strategic initiatives, lead market and opportunity analyses, and drive cross-functional execution across product, partnerships, and marketing. Ideal candidates bring 2+ years in investment banking, consulting, or growth roles, and excel at turning data into actionable business insights.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in investment banking, management consulting, or growth-focused roles (tech/gaming preferred).
• Strong analytical skills and ability to synthesize data into strategic insights.
• First-principles thinker who structures ambiguous problems into clear frameworks.
• Outstanding communication for executive-level decks and stakeholder alignment.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Head of Product & CEO on core strategic initiatives (B2B + B2C).
• Lead market analysis, competitive deep dives, and opportunity sizing to identify trends and needs.
• Build business cases and quantitative models informing go/no-go decisions for new games, partnerships, and bets.
• Help chase down ambiguous, zero-to-one problems—from hypothesis to framework to action plan.
• Architect workflows, OKRs, and scalable business review processes.
• Drive cross-functional initiatives across Product, Partnerships, and Marketing for alignment and delivery.
• Create leverage for leadership by leading pitch decks, proposals, and high-stakes projects.
• Support partnerships and BD with market research, TAMs, and strategic storytelling.
• Track product performance and translate insights into prioritized actions.
• Translate product/market learnings into narratives for investors and stakeholders.

We’re hiring a Business Operations Associate to join our core team and work directly with the founders to build the backbone of our business. This is a unique opportunity to help scale the world’s first AI coaching platform for gamers at the intersection of gaming and AI.

What You’ll Do

Strategy & Analysis

• Partner with the Head of Product & CEO on core strategic initiatives (B2B + B2C).
• Lead market analysis, competitive deep dives, and opportunity sizing to identify trends, customer needs, and emerging opportunities.
• Build business cases and quantitative models that inform go/no-go decisions on new games, partnerships, and investment bets.
• Help chase down ambiguous, zero-to-one problems , from hypothesis to framework to action plan.

Ops & Execution

• Build the operating backbone: architect workflows, OKRs, and business review processes that scale with the company.
• Drive cross-functional initiatives across Product, Partnerships, and Marketing to ensure alignment and delivery.
• Create leverage for leadership by taking point on pitch decks, proposals, and high-stakes projects that require polish and speed.

Growth Enablement

• Support partnerships and BD with market research, TAMs, and strategic storytelling.
