Brodie League is the largest adult Basketball League in the World. Our community has exploded to 35,000 athletes across 20 locations throughout Canada and the U.S. while boasting over 250,000 followers on social media. Our full time team is now at 25 members and growing quickly in our Toronto, Burlington and New York City offices.

As a Strategy Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our company as we continue to lead the way in adult sports innovation. Working closely with the Brodie C Suite of executives, you will organise executive operations and help transform our presence within the basketball community. This is an exciting opportunity to carve out a key role at one one of the hottest brands in basketball.

You will be the right hand of our executive team, maintaining organization, staying calm under pressure, and ensuring the success of our operations. This full-time position reports directly to the COO at our Burlington headquarters.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Enhance operations, content and communications systems and processes across locations.
  • Build and lead a high-performing community and events team.
  • Plan, support, and execute Brodie game nights and flagship activations.
  • On-site ops and support across league nights and community events.
  • Build and scale systems for training, onboarding and QA.

RESULTS

  • Become the ‘fixer’ and go-to problem solver of our executive team.
  • Play a central role in the company’s expansion across North America.
  • Establish a strong community presence in each of our locations through social media engagement and direct communication.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Highly organized and hard working with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Upbeat attitude with the ability to work in a fast-paced, autonomous environment.
  • Strong knowledge of and connection to local basketball and sports communities.
  • Strong understanding and willingness to use AI tools to improve and automate workflows.
  • Located near or willing to commute to Burlington, Ontario.

SALARY

  • 60,000 CAD annually.
