Job summary

Nestlé Canada is seeking a Supply Planner to ensure product availability by generating net requirements and developing supply plans in a hybrid environment in North York, ON. You will balance demand with inventory targets and lead deployment planning on weekly and monthly cycles.

The role emphasizes end-to-end planning within the SNP network, collaboration with manufacturing and demand planning teams, and optimizing service levels and costs.

Qualifications

• > Experience in LEAN practices and inventory optimization.
• > Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• > Proficiency in Power BI, Excel, Tableau, and other analytics tools.
• > Strong analytical skills and supply chain knowledge.
• > Experience with supply planning systems and tools.

Responsibilities

• > Generate net requirements to plants and vendors and prepare supply plans aligned with demand forecasts.
• > Create deployment plans on weekly and monthly cycles to ensure replenishment of R&P materials and meet customer demand.
• > Manage the end-to-end (E2E) planning process within the SNP Network, ensuring service, inventory freshness, and inventory management KPIs are achieved.
• > Analyze planning exceptions and make informed business decisions based on priorities and supply constraints.
• > Collaborate with manufacturing teams to optimize lot sizes, cycle times, and R&P inventory levels.
• > Drive optimal finished goods inventory levels while balancing service and cost objectives.
• > Support and collaborate with Demand Planners to improve forecast accuracy and planning effectiveness.
• > Optimize shipments and maintain continuity of supply between manufacturing operations.
• > Work cross-functionally to ensure efficient material flow and flawless execution of planning processes.
• > Utilize ERP and planning systems to monitor supply performance and support continuous improvement initiatives.
