Job summary

Wesko Locks, part of the ASSA ABLOY Group, seeks an experienced Supply Chain Manager in Mississauga to lead purchasing, inventory, planning, and supplier management. You’ll drive forecasting, optimize material flow, and collaborate across divisions to improve efficiency and inventory health.

On-site role with diverse responsibilities and growth opportunities. Ideal candidates have 5–10 years in manufacturing supply chain, strong leadership and negotiation skills, and proficiency in ERP/MRP

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in supply chain, purchasing, inventory management, planning, or logistics within a manufacturing environment.
• Previous leadership experience managing employees and supply chain operations.
• Post-secondary education in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• SCMP designation is considered an asset.
• Strong knowledge of purchasing, inventory management, demand planning, supplier management, logistics, and warehouse operations.
• Experience with ERP, MRP, inventory management systems, and data analysis tools.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Comfortable working with artificial intelligence tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead supply chain activities across purchasing, inventory management, material planning, logistics, and supplier management.
• Ensure materials are available to support customer demand and production requirements.
• Monitor supplier performance and build strong supplier relationships to support quality, delivery, service, and cost expectations.
• Manage the health of Wesko’s supply base by identifying new suppliers, managing supply risks, and developing sourcing alternatives.
• Lead forecasting and material planning while improving inventory accuracy, availability, and utilization.
• Identify and implement improvements across warehouse operations, ERP processes, and overall supply chain performance.
• Lead cost-saving and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate with ASSA ABLOY divisional resources on supply chain initiatives and best practices.
• Lead, coach, and develop the Supply Chain team while promoting accountability, collaboration, and a safe work environment.
• Support compliance with applicable import, export, and trade requirements.
• Perform additional duties as required.
