American Iron & Metal (AIM) is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Manager to lead the organization’s sourcing strategy, mentor a procurement team, and drive cost savings while ensuring supply continuity. You will develop category roadmaps, manage supplier performance, and collaborate with senior leaders to deliver long-term value.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7 to 10+ years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or category management.
• Minimum of 3 years of leadership or team management experience.
• Strong experience in contract negotiations and supplier management.
• Proven track record of leading strategic sourcing projects.
• Strong analytical, financial, communication, and influencing skills.
• Experience managing complex RFP, RFQ, and RFI processes.

Responsabilidades

• Lead strategic sourcing and category management initiatives aligning with business objectives.
• Analyze spend, market conditions, supplier capabilities, and requirements to identify opportunities.
• Lead RFI/RFP/RFQ processes and supplier evaluations.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts; ensure value realization.
• Partner with Finance, Operations, IT, HR and other functions to influence decisions.
• Coach and develop Procurement Specialists and set team objectives.
