Job summary

South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust in Lambeth invites applications for a Schools and Educational Improvement Adviser to drive the local school improvement agenda, with a focus on maintained settings and strategic leadership alongside the Education Team and SLT.

You will develop and deliver leadership strategies and governance support for primary and secondary schools, monitor outcomes, and collaborate with academies and trusts to secure sustainable improvement.

• Qualified Teacher Status and evidence of on-going professional development relating to services within the remit of the role

Responsibilities

• Support Lambeth's education priorities with Headteachers and SLT.
• Develop and implement strategies and training for leadership teams in schools.
• Improve governance through bespoke support with Lambeth Governor Services.
• Provide expert leadership training to school leaders and staff.
• Monitor risk and ensure timely intervention for schools needing improvement.
• Collaborate with Education Team to align work streams with Lambeth priorities.
