Job summary

Government of Yukon, Department of Highways and Public Works, seeks a Manager of Realty and Space Planning to oversee realty and office-space planning for the Yukon government. You will work with all departments to plan for their office space and leasing needs, manage leased buildings, and lead a team delivering a modern office-space standard.

The role requires leading a professional team, managing budgets and contracts, and partnering with external contractors to provide top-notch client

Qualifications

Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Public Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
Experience leading and developing a team with performance management and coaching.
Experience managing a program related to real property management, leasing or office space planning.
Experience negotiating and managing contracts, lease agreements or service arrangements.
Experience managing budgets, monitoring expenditures, or financial forecasting.

Responsibilities

Manage Yukon government realty and office space planning programs.
Leads portfolio of leased buildings and develops modern office space standards.
Direct a team of technical experts and collaborate with departments, contractors and suppliers.
