Job summary

Pomerleau is seeking a Project Risk Manager to govern the risk management process on complex projects from proposal through execution. You will lead risk workshops, coordinate follow-ups, and ensure high‑quality mitigation plans and narratives for senior management.

Working with analysts, you will develop risk registers, dashboards, and executive summaries, collaborating with controls, engineering, procurement, and scheduling to strengthen risk management and project delivery.

Qualifications

• 3 to 10 years of experience in project risk management or related fields.
• University degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or Risk Management.
• Experience facilitating workshops with multidisciplinary stakeholders.
• Familiarity with risk management and project controls tools such as ARM (Riskonnect) or Primavera is asset.
• Knowledge of ISO 31000, PMI, AACE, or collaborative delivery models is an asset.
• Interest in leveraging data analytics and digital solutions to improve project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead and govern the risk management process across projects from pre-construction to construction.
• Facilitate multidisciplinary risk identification, assessment, and mitigation workshops.
• Develop and maintain risk registers, mitigation plans, and tracking logs.
• Support quantitative cost and schedule risk analyses (QCRA/QSRA) and communicate results to stakeholders.
• Prepare risk reports, dashboards, and executive summaries for project governance.
• Collaborate with controls, engineering, procurement, estimating, scheduling, and operations teams.
• Contribute to proposals and technical submissions with risk assessments and narratives.
