Job summary

ARJ Architectural in Ottawa seeks an entrepreneurial leader and steel door & hardware specialist to build the regional presence and drive growth. The role offers autonomy to set the foundation for expansion and leads strategic projects from concept to completion.

You will manage projects, coordinate with contractors, oversee procurement and scheduling, and guide operations to ensure safety, compliance, and profitability as the business scales.

Qualifications

• Deep technical knowledge of hollow metal doors, frames, and architectural hardware.
• Mastery of fire-rating requirements, life safety codes, and interpreting hardware schedules.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to build regional presence and drive business development.

Responsibilities

• Lead project meetings and site visits, ensuring policies and procedures are followed.
• Oversee project execution: scheduling, procurement, and coordination of field workers.
• Work with General Contractors to meet milestones and provide resources.
• Monitor construction plan and ensure timely documentation and billing.
• Actively develop the client portfolio to achieve sales and growth targets.
