Job summary

Desjardins Group is seeking a Project Lead to support sponsors and coordinate multidisciplinary teams across cross-functional initiatives. You will manage resources, budgets, and timelines while maintaining governance practices to deliver business value.

Responsibilities include leading strategic transformations, engaging stakeholders at all levels, and ensuring alignment with senior leadership and governance committees. Travel between Aurora and Mississauga offices is expected.

Qualifications

• Nine years of relevant project management experience delivering large-scale, cross-functional initiatives.
• Experience leading transformational, operational improvement, technology and business initiatives.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and work with senior leadership and governance committees.
• Professional certifications such as PMP, PgMP, PRINCE2, Agile, SAFe or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to deliver cross-functional projects and strategic initiatives.
• Develop, manage and communicate project roadmaps, budgets, and milestones with governance structures.
• Identify, assess, mitigate, and manage risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Report on performance to sponsors, governance committees, and decision-making bodies.
• Manage vendor relationships and oversight with internal/external partners.
