Job summary

IEM in Surrey, BC is seeking a Production Planner to translate customer demand into executable production plans, aligning with material availability and capacity. This role focuses on mid- to long-range planning and cross-functional coordination to support on-time delivery.

The position requires 100% in-office presence at our Surrey offices and does not offer remote work. A Bachelor's degree in a related field and 1–3 years of planning experience are preferred, with INFOR ERP experience highly

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
  • 1–3 years of production/planning experience in manufacturing.
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems (INFOR preferred).
  • Strong Excel and data analysis skills are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain production plans based on customer demand, forecast data, material readiness, and capacity.
  • Review orders and demand signals to validate production requirements and lead times.
  • Collaborate with Production, Fabrication, and Engineering to ensure feasible plans with available resources.
  • Coordinate with Supply Chain to align material strategies with production plans.
  • Utilize ERP systems (INFOR) to analyze demand and support manufacturing execution.
