Job summary

Amrize Canada Inc. seeks a Procurement Specialist to coordinate the procurement of goods and services in the Pacific market, drive contract implementation and supplier performance, and achieve cost savings under the guidance of the Procurement Manager and Category Managers.

The ideal candidate holds a University Degree in Business or Supply Chain, with 2–5 years in procurement, strong Excel and Power BI skills, and the ability to travel to the United States; SAP, eRFQ and eAuction experience is

Qualifications

• Cross-functional collaboration across teams and functions.
• Advanced analytical skills with large data sets.
• Strong proficiency in Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Experience with BI tools for data visualization and insights.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate procurement of goods and services per category strategy.
• Maintain relationships with local management to forecast needs and optimize costs.
• Negotiate with suppliers in collaboration with PM and CM.
• Support RFx processes for local CAPEX initiatives.
• Draft contracts under PM guidance using pre-approved templates.
• Identify and realize cost savings and process improvements.
• Leverage BI to reveal opportunities and present findings.
• Ensure internal controls and regulatory compliance.
• Promote safety and health policies in the workplace.
