Job summary

Motive is seeking a Technical Program Manager for Platform Services in Canada. The role focuses on leading complex, cross-team programs that strengthen platform foundations and scale engineering delivery.

You will partner with VP Platform Services and engineering managers to drive outcomes and align roadmaps across multiple teams. The position emphasizes executive communication, data-driven governance, and strong technical judgment to unblock delivery and improve execution across the platform.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in technical program management or equivalent within software or platform groups.
• 15+ years in the technology industry with broad exposure.
• Proven track record leading large, multi-team programs with cross-functional impact.
• Strong ability to discuss architecture, trade-offs, risks and delivery plans.
• Structured problem solving and executive communication skills are essential.
• Experience aligning senior stakeholders and governing interdependent teams.
• Bias for action and ability to unblock delivery beyond Jira hygiene.

Responsibilities

• Translate organizational priorities into executable program roadmaps with measurable outcomes.
• Lead end-to-end execution of cross-functional programs across Platform Services.
• Manage goals, milestones, dependencies, decisions and risks with clear rhythms.
• Create scalable program mechanisms like roadmaps, reports, escalation paths, metrics.
• Identify systemic gaps and drive durable solutions aligned to objectives.
• Influence technical and business stakeholders to move initiatives forward.
• Mentor others in program management and elevate execution standards.
• Lead Monthly/Quarterly Business Reviews and cross-organizational communications.
• Map product roadmaps into programs interfacing with multiple engineering teams.
• Implement tracking frameworks to flag delivery risks weeks in advance.
