Job summary

New Gold Inc. seeks a Maintenance Planner to support the mobile maintenance execution team and mine operations at the New Afton site near Kamloops. You will produce detailed work plans, assist with maintenance schedules, and coordinate resources to keep downtime to a minimum.

The role requires 5+ years in mobile maintenance, a Red Seal, and strong communication. You will report to the Maintenance Planning Supervisor and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive reliability and safety.

Qualifications

• Red Seal Heavy Duty Mechanic certification or equivalent.
• 5+ years of mobile maintenance experience.
• Demonstrated dedication to safety in the workplace.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with SAP or comparable CMMS.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate safety leadership through hazard identification in planned work.
• Develop efficient work plans for scheduled and unscheduled mobile maintenance.
• Create detailed PM work plans with parts, timelines, and technician instructions.
