Job summary

Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) is seeking an IT Portfolio Manager - Financial Analysis for a 12‑month in-office assignment in Ontario. You will provide governance, financial analysis, business case development, and benefits realization to optimize technology investments.

Key responsibilities include cost-benefit analyses, ROI studies, and executive reporting, collaborating with leaders and external advisors, and supporting budgeting and forecasting with advanced

Qualifications

  • 8 to 10 years of progressive experience in portfolio management or financial analysis.
  • CPA designation is a strong asset.
  • University degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, IT, or related field.
  • Experience supporting large, complex projects or portfolios within technology or business environments.
  • Strong analytical, financial modelling, reporting and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • PMI-PMP certification or equivalent is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Provide advisory support across IT portfolio governance and budgeting.
  • Perform cost-benefit analyses and ROI assessments for initiatives.
  • Develop executive management reports on risks, budget and status.
  • Collaborate with industry leaders to develop best practices.
  • Forecast resources and support reporting and monitoring tools.
  • Promote continuous improvement and benefits realization.
