Job summary

CGC Inc. is recruiting a Human Resources Business Partner for our Nova Scotia quarries and IBP plant in Richibucto, NB, based in Little Narrows, NS.

This permanent, full-time role focuses on providing HR leadership, analytics-based decision making, and staff development across multiple sites in NS and NB. The HRBP will manage talent acquisition strategy, salary administration, and employee development while guiding managers on HR matters.

Qualifications

• 5 years HR experience in manufacturing/mining preferred.
• Willing to travel to Windsor plant as needed.
• Extensive knowledge of HR laws and practices.
• Ability to coach employees and managers.
• Strong communication skills across all levels of the organization.
• Ability to provide thought leadership and influence and maintain collaborative partnerships.
• Strong employee relations focus.
• Strong organizational and analytical/problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and in teams.

Responsibilities

• Employee relations program administration and plant engagement.
• Serve as primary safety advisor and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Monitor staffing trends and develop sourcing strategies with Center of Expertise.
• Oversee onboarding, interviews and internal promotions/transfers.
• Salary and benefit administration; advise on investments, retirement and leaves.
