Lytton First Nation in British Columbia is seeking an HR Manager to lead the Administration Department's HR functions, develop policies, and support employee development. The role emphasizes compliant practices, records management, and collaboration with leadership to address current and future HR needs.

Formación

• Diploma or certificate in Business Administration or HRM.
• 2+ years HR experience, generalist with recruitment and employee relations.
• Experience guiding managers on performance and workplace matters.
• Knowledge of employment legislation and commitment to ongoing development.
• Proficiency with MS Office 365 and ability to learn new tech.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, including presentations.

Responsabilidades

• Manage HR functions and day-to-day activities aligned with organizational goals.
• Develop, review, and implement HR policies and procedures.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
• Provide HR support to managers on performance and policies.
• Ensure compliance with employment legislation and workplace policies.
• Oversee recruitment including job descriptions, screening, and onboarding.
• Develop and implement talent management and succession planning.
• Foster positive employee relations and healthy workplace culture.
• Collaborate with management to develop HR strategies for current and future needs.
• Support compensation, benefits, and leave programs.
• Assist with Occupational Health and Safety Committee initiatives.
